Yellow Fever — Required
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Sierra Leone — this applies to both ECOWAS and non-ECOWAS delegates.
Carry your original certificate (or verified digital card) with your travel documents; it may be checked on arrival.

Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is strongly advised for all delegates.
Ensure coverage includes medical evacuation.

Climate & Wellbeing
Late September is the close of the rainy season: warm (23–29°C), humid, with short heavy downpours and bright spells between them. Drink bottled or treated water; it is widely available at venues and hotels. Light, breathable clothing, a compact umbrella and closed shoes work best between venues.
